Stop + liquid clusters and syllable

{p,t,k} + {r,l}

Observation:  This cluster doesn't get split across two syllables. This has an impact on the neighboring vowels: whether lax or tense.

apron > 'a-pron
rubric > 'ru-bric (cf. rustic >' rus-tic; 'Eu-stace, 'hous-ston)
fabric > 'fab-ric
Nebraska > ne-'bras-ka
zebra > 'ze-bra
vibrate > 'vi-,brate
hubris > 'hu-bris (not 'hub-ris)
fibrosis > fi-'bro-sis (i a diphthong)
hybrid > 'hy-brid
inebriate > i-'ne-bri-,ate (ee)
glabrous > 'gla-brous (ay)
scabrous > 'sca-brous or 'scab-rous

cupric > 'cu-pric (yoo)
caprice > ca-'price (first schwa)
