Teaching and learnng

Teacher teaches;learner learns. If teaching and learning don't sync, learners stop learning.  That's why education is darn failure for many kids. So, people go to schools for grades, degrees, etc, which are meant to get jobs.

Teaching process should take into the account of the learner's biography, learners prior experiences, learners prior knowledge in various domains.

For instance, if you want to teach Sanskrit to Telugu native speakers, don't start with bunch of tables of declensions and crap. Instead, use his knowledge of his telugu to teach Sansrkrit.

Telugu has many Sanskrit loanwords/phrases: for instance, vadanti. vadantulu = pukarlu.

Satyam vada, dharmam chara
satyameva jayathe

Buddham saranam gacchami
Dhammam saranam gacchami
Sangham saranam gacchami

vadanti is a sanskrit verb.
